For Sterling Silver Jewelry

We recommend that you remove fingerprints and light tarnish with a silver cleaning cloth regularly.
If the silver tarnishes (the best Sterling silver 0.925 will tarnish but WILL be restored to it's natural beauty), it is important to clean it with a silver polisher. It is generally best to stay with well-known silver-care product cleaners, as some inferior products may cause scratching.  Try to use the most gentle cleaner.

For 18kt Gold or Rose Gold Overlay Jewelry

Due to chemical reactions, It's always a good idea to remove your name jewlery when taking a shower, cleaning, applying makeup, lotions, hairspray, or perfume.
Additionally, chlorine may affect the color of your gold name jewelry and we therefore recommend removing all gold jewelry before entering a pool and/or hot tub.  The discoloration of overlay jewelry may also stem from individual body chemistry, if this is something that you may have encountered previously we recommend our 14kt Gold/ White Gold options.
